AlphaME has strong relationships with a Sri Lankan sea food company for setting a chilled tuna processing plant.

The plant is designed to process and supply fresh Yellowfin and big eye tuna and swordfish loins. Premium quality sashimi tuna loins is also a product of interest. It would also process whole, gutted and headed gutted chilled tuna for sales to markets worldwide.
 

The impeccable quality, abundance and year long availability of the Sri Lankan tuna, especially the Sashimi grade, is the primary reason for us to start this operation.

Our products are processed in hygienic conditions and follow In-house control norms. Organoleptically & Bacteriologically tested and are fully complained to HACCP/EU/FDA guidelines and regulations. The products are natural and in no way treated with chemicals, Free from pesticides, radiation, parasites and follow all food Safety norms with all controls during process.

Net Weight

The net weight is the frozen weight of the product otherwise as per declared weight.

     Physical Characteristics

 

Fish flesh will be natural, free from dehydration & decomposition.

Fillets are uniform without any major gaping.

 

Steaks are uniform with bone-In and skin-On.
Loins are transparent and natural generic color.

     Processing Procedures

Whole fish is received, washed, graded to size, and chilled with Ice, according to the species and order requirement the product is processed, weighted Blast/plate frozen (until the core temperature of the product reaches -40 C and packed and stored at -18 C.

Packing and Labelling requirements

 

Fish packed in Master Cartons/ polybags strapped, fillets and streaks are wrapped.

 

All products are labelled with traceability/ batch code on the packaging.

 

Product is to be maintained at -18 C all through out Distribution.

Customized packing is done against confirmed orders.

Product Usage Instruction

 

The product is recommended to be cooked before consumption.
