Sourced within the UAE ,Alpha Fine Foods Kenya and other parts of the globe we supply and distribute at institutional level Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes, Catering Companies supermarket /retail outlets as well as wholesalers, the food products involved are both of the fresh and frozen variety.

We also provide tailor made products to suit the customers’ specifications. All products produced in the factories are HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certified. From the factory to the shelf quality remains the key word for Alpha Middleeast.

Who is I&J

Irvin & Johnson - or I&J as it is better known, is a household name in South Africa and is one of the best recognised and trusted food brands in Australia, the Pacific Rim, the United States, Europe and Africa.

I&J products have the Heart Mark, a guideline and incentive for shoppers to instantly identify healthy products on the shelf.

These products are:

-  low in cholesterol, low in saturated fat, low in salt and high in
   fibre (where applicable) and low in added sugar.

The Heart Mark logo confirms two things:

-  Independent testing by a reputable laboratory

I&J operates its fishing fleet throughout South Africa’s EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone) as well as international and neighboring state waters of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
The factory complex is equipped with modern high technology production machinery. This, together with I&J’s expertise, enables the company to produce premium quality, innovative products which compete with the best available internationally.
Par-fried, coated, sauce-filled portions, co-extruded products and more sophisticated microwaveable products are processed at I&J’s processing factory in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town which opened in 1998.

CHICKEN & BEEF

I&J has been active in the beef burger business in South Africa since 1982. The range of products has grown to cover the full spectrum of own and private label products suitable for the retail as well as thefoodservice market.

Products are processed in an ISO 14001 facility, according to HACCP food safety principles. All beef products produced in this facility are accredited by SANHA, the South African National Halaal Authority, guaranteeing their Halaal status.

More recently I&J has ventured into the processed chicken business to primarily fulfil the needs of the food service market and major contract customers.

Similarly processed according to HACCP food safety principles, our chicken range is also Halaal.
